Trunk-or-Treat

The Hillsborough River State Parks Preservation Society is seeking local organizations, businesses, groups or individuals to join together to provide treats, decorate vehicles, and  promote your business while interacting with the community during our 2025 Trunk Or-Treat event.

When: Saturday, Oct 25th from 5-7pm

RULES OF PARTICIPATION

  • Set-up will begin at 3:30pm to allow time to decorate vehicle. Please arrive no later than 4:00pm, so that your vehicle is ready by 5:00pm.

  • Your vehicle must be manned from 5-7pm (No early departures).

  • Vehicles must be turned off for the duration of the event.

  • You will be provided with an approx. 12'x12' space for decorating.

  • Electricity will NOT be provided.

  • No amplified music. All effects should be limited to the vicinity of your space.

  • NO open flames, fireworks or flammable materials allowed!

  • No vending or selling (no food, drink, or product may be sold)

  • Each participant must provide trick-or-treat giveaways, i.e. pre-wrapped or sealed store-bought candy, stickers, pencils, glow sticks etc. We recommend having enough handouts for about 500 little ghosts and goblins.
    (In addition, you may also provide informational materials about your program or business)

  • You are responsible for cleaning up your area after the event.

  • Day use park entrance fees apply.

    The deadline for applications is October 22, 2025 at 5:00pm. Applications received

    after that date will be considered on a space available basis. Once approved, you will
    receive an email with confirmation. Apply today!

All proceeds benefit the Hillsborough River State Park Preservation Society, INC., which
supports HRSP with repairs and maintenance in the park and at the Fort Foster State Historic Site.
