Just how scary are we talking?
The Haunted Woods Scare Trail is well known for it’s super-scary vibe! Be prepared for this year’s theme, “Your Worst Nightmares” to thrill you with jump scares, flashing lights, shouting and screaming, loud sound effects, fog features, and more. We advise families that it is recommended for ages 12 and up, but you know your children best. Also, please be advised that the trails move through uneven ground in the black of night.
If you and your little ones need some spooky themed fun that is free of frights, try out our daytime Enchanted Woods event.
What is Enchanted Woods?
Building on the success of our children’s area last year, we are bringing back our Magickal Faerie Trail, Pirate’s Galleon Alley play area, Bella Luna’s Fortune Teller’s Camp, and a Creatures of the Night Native Wildlife Trail. Be sure to get your Enchanted Woods passport when you arrive, so you can collect stamps at each area. We’ll be holding a prize drawing that evening for a family getaway package courtesy of Timberline Glamping, FloVibez Adventure Tours, Fort Foster State Historic Park, and Hillsborough River State Park.
